SPLENDOUR OF EMBROIDERY ALSACIENNE

Francine Zeil exposes a portion of his collection of old embroideries and Furnishings in the activity room of the Library Eschau until June 10 Passionate
embroidery, Francine Zeil has accumulated over the years of very beautiful collection pieces that will delight all lovers of Alsatian heritage. Real treasures are revealed to the public and the whole history of Alsace which runs at the option of embroidery stitches : Antique samplers, tablecloths embroidered with traditional motifs Alsatian red or blue, ceremonial cloths, etc..
The exhibitor has written a wonderful book called Alsace embroidered in stem stitch, which tells the history of embroidery Alsace and its secrets.

Zeil Francine has created a museum that brings the entire collection to Gersthein, it will open its doors on 12 and 13 June, 10am to 18.
